Reports

Some sources reported Tuaregs were "Arrested, tortured, and prejudicially executed". Thousands, at least, were killed.

Some sources mention they were "striped naked, beaten and subjected to electric shocks while in custody..." . Up to 400 were detained and tortured in Tahoua prison.

For two months public executions by the army, occurred in the villages of Tchin Tabaraden, Tillia and Tahoua . The total number of casualties is very difficult to estimate because of conflict information between different sources: 63 according to the government, 600 according to the humanitarian organizations, 1500 according to the rebels.(1)
